Steeple Hill Tourist Rooms are located on a hill (locally known as Catholic Hill) overlooking the historic district of Bayfield with Lake Superior and Madeline Island beyond. You can enjoy viewing the sailboats glide across the bay and the ferries as they ply their trade with the Island - all from your private deck. This new facility is equipped with all new furnishings and appliances. The rooms are bright and airy, offering you a full view of the lake. Steeple Hill is only a three to four block walk (depending on whether you meander toward the lake or walk straight down) to downtown Bayfield. So you are within walking distance to shops, restaurants, cruise boats, the ferry, kayaking and sailing, as well as four churches.
