Swarthout Museum



Details

The Swarthout Museum is operated by the La Crosse Historical Society and located in the same building as the Public Library. A variety of changing and permanent exhibits interpret La Crosse area history including Native American cultures, changing fashions, and local businesses. Younger visitors will enjoy the Children's Room where they can try on clothing from the past or their hand at a teletype or electric stereoscope.
