Thrasher Opera House

Details

Thrasher Opera House is a National Historic Site that was originally built in 1910 as a community gathering place. Fully restored and reopened to the public in 1997, it is now the home to fine musical, comedy, theatrical, and community events. The historic Thrasher Opera House is truly a community-benefit organization. People travel to Green Lake from all over the Midwest—and sometimes farther—to see visiting artists such as Maria Muldaur, George Winston, and Jimmy Webb and more. The Missoula Children’s Theatre is in residence twice a year, giving 60 area children the opportunity to participate in a musical every January and June. In addition, the venue is used for everything from high school plays and dances to weddings and receptions, community and business meetings, lectures and piano recitals, and other uses limited only by the imagination. Thrasher is a 'general seating' venue. Tickets are available for purchase online or by calling the business office at 920-294-4279. ext. 101.
