21 miles of 44,600-ace Underdown Recreation Area is open to horseback riders, mountain bikers and hikers in the summer and cross country skiiers in the winter. The horseback riding trail network is made up of 18, 12, 10 and 3.5 mile loops, which are marked and maintained. A campground area is also available. The cross country ski area consists of 3, 7, and 11 mile loops of marked and groomed ski trails. The terrain for mountain biking is beautiful, but can also be rugged and challenging. The trails pass through over 4,600 acres of Lincoln County Forest Land.
