Westby Coon Prairie Lutheran Church

The Westby Country Coon Prairie Church and Cemetary, built in 1857, is located on the outskirts of Westby's downtown. This beautiful Lutheran church was established by the Norwegians when the arrived in the Wisconsin. This church is the 1st Lutheran Church in western Wisconsin and is now listed on the list of National Register of Historic Places. The church's cemetary is often visited for personal heritage, summer services, weddings and cemetary walks! This church and other churches are listed on Westby Leisure Tours and Walking Tours.
