Green Innovations

Compostable materials are used instead of plastic and are purchased in bulk/concentrate. Excess food, linens, furniture, and/or other items are donated to local charities and shelters. Free-cycling is used and remodeling projects minimize construction and demolition waste through reuse and recycling.
They maintain socially responsible practices by ensuring contractual agreements and hiring practices are not exploitive. They choose suppliers that provide and take back reusable packaging materials. Food products such as produce, meat, and dairy are purchased from local farmers, local farmers’ markets, and CSA programs and the organization coordinates with local agri-tourism organizations, such as wineries and orchards, to offer tours and site visits.
Literature promoting local businesses is provided and offers list of local green activities or other TGW certified events for visitors to explore while in the area. Organization shares information about the sources of food or other products with its visitors.

From the North on I-94 take exit 115 right onto Hwy 12-27. The Chamber is located at 120 N. Water St. directly on the highway. From the South take I-94 Exit # 116. Turn left on Highway 54, follow across the bridge and turn right on N. Water Street to 12
