Biking in Madison
Madison makes the top of the list for the Bike Friendly America certification. The city is great for commuting with numerous bike paths and green biking lanes to safely ride the streets. Not only is it a great city for commuting by bike, but if your hobby is biking, there is a wide range of biking clubs to suit all interests. Examples include racing, bike polo, touring, and unicycling. Another amazing biking attribute is the Madison B-cycle program where there are bikes to rent—perfect for both tourists and locals. The bikes can be rented and then returned to any B-cycle location around town. Madison B-cycle has 35 stations and 350 bikes around downtown Madison.
