The American Club

Whether it’s food, massages or golf you seek, The American Club has it all. As part of the town of Kohler, the resort represents only one part of the historic yet innovative area. The Kohler Design Center and the Kohler-Andrae State Park are both recommended during a visit to the area. The American Club is great for golf enthusiasts. Wisconsin’s premier golf courses, Blackwolf Run and Whistling Straits, hosted the 2004 and 2010 PGA Championships and 2007 U.S. Senior Open, and will be the future home to the 2015 PGA Championship and 2020 Ryder Cup.

The American Club has received a AAA Five Diamond rating as well as Forbes’ 5 Star and is one of only 44 resorts in the world to have both awards. It was also rated the “#1 Midwest Resort” by readers of Condé Nast Traveler and is in the Top 500 of the world’s best hotels by Travel + Leisure Magazine. The Club’s spa got a 5 Star rating from Forbes both in 2013 and again in 2014.
