Chocolate Experience Museum

Located in Chocolate City, USA, this delightful museum provides an engaging educational tour for school groups and tourists to learn about Burlington’s strong historic, economic and cultural connections with chocolate. Displays of artistic chocolate creations abound from previous ChocolateFest exhibits, showing great creativity and imagination. Beyond local connections with chocolate, museum tours provide fascinating historical information on cocoa from the times of the ancient Mayan and Aztec cultures, to European discovery, to our current consumption in the form of delicious candy bars. The museum also addresses the process of how chocolate is made, from its beginning as a cacao bean to its distribution from a factory. Each tour concludes with a sample from the local Nestle factory.
