Wisconsin Historical Museum
Four floors of permanent and changing exhibits document Wisconsin history from prehistoric times to the present day. Exhibits encompass the history of Wisconsin's Native Americans, European immigrants, agriculture, mining, lumbering, industry, tourism and political history. Changing exhibits provide a venue for the exploration of other themes in state history.
Hours of Operation
Spring (through May 31, 2014): 9am-4pm Tuesday through Saturday, closed Sunday and Monday. Summer (June 1-Aug 31, 2014): 9am-4pm Tuesday through Saturday, noon-5pm Sunday.
Located directly across from Wisconsin's State Capitol on Madison's Capitol Square.
