Founders and brothers Chris and George Popoff established George’s Tavern in 1946. Since it’s inception, George’s has been a Community Hub true to it’s motto, “Food, Fun & Friends”. The traditions developed over time sustain to this day.

Lunch and Dinner Menu features Homemade Soups, Chili, Hot Beef Sandwiches, and more! Deluxe Burgers are served Mon-Sat from 5-9pm. Our Homemade Pizzas, featuring our own special recipe sauce, are available at all hours.

Frequent Live Music Events are a major focus of the George’s experience. Weekly Open Jam: Wednesdays 8-11pm. Huge Projector Screen in the back room is a great way to watch Packer Football and other major sporting events! 

Located just north of the Racine Downtown District, George’s offers a secure, lighted parking lot along with ample non-metered street parking.
