Located among the beautiful lakes, forests, and rolling hills of the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest, the Cable Natural History Museum has served to connect you to the Northwoods for over 45 years. View our collection of native Northwoods animal specimens, explore our current exhibit, play in the Curiosity Center, or attend one of our 160 public programs. What life lurks beneath our lakes? Tuesday through Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Additional Summer Hours from June 22 through August 13: Thursdays open until 7:00. Mondays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
