Observatory at Mosquito Hill Nature Center

430-acre environmental education center with natural history displays, exhibit areas, an art gallery, and an observatory. Has a cross-country trail, snowshoeing trails with snowshoe rentals, and about 5 miles of hiking trails that include a summit scenic view and one paved trail for accessibility. A variety of programs and events are offered including bird watching.

Hours of Operation

Trails open daylight hours, (except during the gun deer hunting season). Normal inside hours are Tues-Fri 8am-4:30pm and weekends 10am-3pm.

Located 2 miles east of New London; take Cty S to Rogers Rd., watch for sign.
