Namekagon Visitor Center and National Scenic Riverway
The Namekagon Visitor Center is operated by the National Park Service. The center features new exhibits including a life size replica sturgeon, interactive and hands on exhibits, and a diorama featuring animals along the Namekagon. A park ranger is available to answer any questions you may have regarding the Namekagon River. Namekagon River (pronounced NAM-uh-Kah-gun) is a 95 mile long river which is a tributary to the St. Croix River. The Namekagon is protected under the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway.
Hours of Operation
Memorial Day through Labor Day- Open Daily 9am-5pm
The Center is located on Hwy. 63 in Trego just north of the junction of Hwy. 63 and Hwy. 53.
