Down A Coutnry Road Amish Gifts and Tours is located in the heart of Wisconsin's largest Amish populated area. We are just 2 miles East of Cashton on State Hwy. 33. Down A Country Road features three gift shops and a Ice Cream shop, along with a tour service of the Amish populated area. Of the shops located on our property, the "Amish Shop" was built by the Amish and is filled with their hand crafted treasures. You will find furniture, quilts, rugs, baskets, wall hangings, cookie cutters, and so much more. "The Little Red Shed" will delight the country shopper. This little gift shop was built on the farm in 1905 and features unique country gift items, many of which are made by local artisans. "Emma's Kitchen" will temp your taste buds. This gift shop, also built by the Amish is filled with an array of food products, from jams to jellies to bread mixes, maple syrup to honey products, you are sure to find that just right treat or gift. When you are done shopping, enjoy a hand dipped ice cream cone from the cute little "Country Corner Ice Cream Shoppe". All of the shops are located on our farm in the heart of Amish country. We provide guided tours of our Amish neighbors by reservation. We have been giving Amish tours for over 12 years and are the most experienced tour guides in the area. A guide will ride with you in your vehicle for 1 1/2 hour as you vist our Amish neighbors. We'll share the history, traditions and customs of our Old Order Amish friends with you.
