White Gold Snowmobile Tour
With a typical winter snowfall of 200 inches, Iron County could well be renamed "Snow County." Hurley is one jumping-off point to enjoy the county's 450 miles of excellent snowmobile trails. The city is a wonderful blend of old and new; a rich mining past coupled with a dynamic tourism future. Iron County was once a linchpin of Wisconsin's mining economy. Iron ore poured out of the Gogebic Range for half a century - 'til the mines played out. You can learn all about the area's rich mining history at the Iron County Historical Museum in Hurley.

Click here for a trail map.
