Here's to embracing snow! Kettlebowl Ski Hill is open when there is adequate naturally made snow for memory-making with those who matter most! Kettlebowl has added two new terrain park features on the hill - an 8x8 ft wall and an 8x16 ft butterbox. Kettlebowl Ski Hill is normally open on Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 4 pm when there is enough naturally made snow. Antigo Ski will be available to rent skis/boots/snowboards when the hill is open. The downhill and cross-country skiing opportunities are approximately 17 miles northeast of Antigo on Highway 52.

At 72 acres in size, Paul Bunyan Ski Hill is a small hill compared to most. However, with ski runs ranging from beginner to expert, the hill “skis bigger” than it is. Paul Bunyan’s 150-foot vertical drop makes for some short but exciting runs. Skiers take multiple ski lifts to ski the entire hill. The hill is equipped with a Hall T-Bar ski lift and four rope tows. The tubing hill is equipped with a handle tow.

Perkinstown Winter Sports Area is four-single chute hill and 2 group runs with a tow rope and a set of stairs. The chalet offers a place to warm up along with snacks and concessions. You can even reserve a space for your private group. Perkinstown Winter Sports Area is open Saturday Hours are 11-5 at $15 or 11-2 or 2-5 at $10. Sunday Hours are 12-4 at $11 or 12-2 at $8! Three and under are free and have to ride on an adults lap! Reminder they do not accept debt or credit cards!

Come and enjoy downhill skiing and snowboarding on Forest Springs ski hill! Sunset Hill consists of 5 different runs with a bunny hill and training area. The ski hill is equipped with two well maintained tow-ropes. They also have their own snow-making equipment as well as a professional LMC grooming machine. Trained staff are on hand to provide complimentary skiing and snowboarding lessons. Right now the ski hill will be open - although one of our five runs may be closed still. Those 4 runs will provide plenty of great skiing. Both tubing runs will be open. Ice skating on the lake will be open as well. Cross country ski trails and snowshoe trails are still in need of more snow, so we are asking guests to refrain from using those. Please use discretion when using the fat tire bike track at Powers Bluff. Stay off of the track to prevent rutting anytime the temperatures are over freezing. Powers Bluff is home to three downhill skiing and snowboarding trails varying from 1,320 to 1,500 feet in length. The estimated vertical drop is 250 feet. The downhill trails are operated by a handle grip tow, which is an ideal system for beginner skiers and snowboarders. Families love tubing the four available fast-paced tube runs. A two-story stone shelter building includes a warming house with concessions. Tow passes are available for purchase on site.

There are two beginner hills, one intermediate hill, and two experts hills at the park. The longest run is approximately 1200 feet and the steepest vertical drop is 125 feet. Hot concessions are sold in the ski lodge. Downhill skiing is available every weekend throughout the snow season and weekdays during the Christmas holiday season.

Sylvan Hill is the only tubing hill in the Wausau area. This area includes six slopes down and two wire tows to pull you back up the hill. The west hill has a vertical drop of 133 feet. The east hill has a vertical drop of 120 feet. Bring your family and friends to try out Wausau's best winter recreation opportunity. The park also offers a large chalet with fireplace and a snack bar to purchase food.
