Step One: Create a Trip
Once you login you can create a new trip or edit existing trips. Set your trip name, description, privacy and dates before you begin.
Step Two: Add Items
Add items from our Places to Stay, Things to Do, Dining and Events sections to your trip by clicking the Add to Trip icon throughout the site or from within the Trip Planner.
Step Three: Print and Share
Print details of your trip and share your trip with friends on your favorite social network or via email.
Jefferson County, located between the major city regions of Madison and Milwaukee, is part of Wisconsin’s glaciated region. Much of the region’s tourism focuses on inviting visitors to learn about and experience the beauty and features of the landscape that were formed by its glacial history. The Glacial Heritage Area that stretches into neighboring counties but centered in Jefferson County is broken down into four main areas including Conservation Parks, Linking Trails, a River-Based Conservation Area and Wildlife Areas. Located between two of Wisconsin’s most heavily populated areas, Jefferson County offers a nearby escape for those looking to engage in sports and recreation enjoying Wisconsin’s natural resources in their undeveloped forms.
