Brule River State Forest
The Brule River, a premier trout stream, drops 328 feet as it cascades from its headwaters to the shores of Lake Superior. Enjoy exciting whitewater canoeing, kayaking and fishing, as well as wilderness solitude.
Hours of Operation
From Brule, drive west 0.5 mile on US Hwy 2 to South Ranger Road. Turn south 2 miles to state forest headquarters at 6250 S Ranger Rd. You'll find a parking area at the ranger station and at entry points to the river.
