Council Grounds State Park

A 508-acre park adjacent to the Wisconsin River. The park offers 55 camp sites, a nature center, restrooms, showers, swimming, a boat launch, fishing, biking and hiking. Near the site of Native American encampments, this park is a favorite for water enthusiasts. Accessible fishing stations and adaptive kayaks available.

Two miles west of Merrill on State Road 107, turn south on Council Grounds Dr. to the park at N1895 Council Grounds Dr. Park entrance is well signed with several parking areas.
