The road less traveled leads to the von Stiehl Winery in Algoma. An overwhelmingly positive staff will help you find your favorite among nearly 25 varieties from dry grape to sweet fruit wines! While visiting, tour arched limestone caverns which date back to the Civil War era. Offering a high quality product at a valued price makes von Stiehl Winery an absolute “must stop” destination.
Hours of Operation
Tours daily, May-Oct: 9:30am, 10:30am, 11:30am, 1, 2, 3 & 4pm. Nov-April: Saturday 10:30am & 1:30pm. Store hours: Jan-Apr: 10am-4pm, May-June: 9am-5pm, July-Aug 9am-5:30pm, Sept-Oct: 9am-5pm, Nov-Dec 10am-5pm. Visits to take our Wisconsin winery tours by appointment are also welcome! We are closed Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Year’s Day.
Take Interstate 43 (I-43) north to Manitowoc. Exit for 42 north to Algoma (2nd exit in Manitowoc). Drive aproximately one hour to Algoma. Continue straight to the Y intersection (in Algoma) at Co S. Bear to the right and continue until you arive at Navarino Street. Turn right just before the bridge on Navarino; our winery is on the left.
