Established before the Civil War, the winery and vineyard are a National Historic Site. Overlooking the Wisconsin River Valley, their wines are national and international award-winners. The guided tour includes a winemaking video, a visit to the underground aging caves, and wine tasting.
Hours of Operation
Open daily 10am-5pm. Tours hourly, 10:15am-4:15pm, cost is $5 per person. Closed: New Year's Day, Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Wine Garden open weather permitting.
From Milwaukee & Chicago: Take I-90/I-94/I-43 WEST (actually North) past Madison to State Hwy 60 at Lodi/Arlington (exit 119). Turn RIGHT onto 60 and go WEST toward Prairie du Sac. Just before the Wisconsin river, Turn LEFT on Hwy 188 and go 3/4 mile to the winery.
