Visitors to Cana Island Lighthouse, located off the shores of Baileys Harbor in Wisconsin, step into over 150 years of maritime history. Built in 1869 and still guiding ships on Lake Michigan, the lighthouse stands 89 feet tall and invites guests to climb its 97-step spiral staircase to a panoramic gallery deck overlooking the mainland and surrounding waters.

Accessed by a scenic hay-wagon ride (or by foot when conditions allow) via the causeway, the site also includes the original keeper’s home, oil house and rocky shoreline trails where you can explore the island’s natural beauty.

Open seasonally from May through October, the lighthouse offers a memorable blend of adventure, history and breathtaking views.
