Located in Waupaca's South Park, the Hutchinson House is the first wood frame building erected in Waupaca. Moved to this site, it had become the local historical society's museum, showing how homes were decorated and outfitted in the mid-1850s. Guided tours. Small entrance fee. Free open house is one day only, Sat. Sep. 15.

Hours of Operation

Open Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend on Saturdays, Sundays, and Summer Holidays from 1 to 4 p.m. Admission is free but donations are appreciated.


The home is in South Park at the south end of Main Street in Waupaca.
