Art and Craft Fairs This November in Wisconsin

November is an “in-between” month in Wisconsin. It's not quite fall, but it's not yet winter. The leaves are down, the harvest is done, the days are crisp, but there’s no snow on the ground for outdoor fun. What’s a person to do?

Go shopping! The holidays are just around the corner, and November is Wisconsin's hottest month for seasonal art and craft fairs.

Seems every school PTA, church group and community center in the state hosts a show, with hundreds of them across Wisconsin every weekend. To help you get started, here are a few of our favorite Wisconsin holiday craft fairs.

Peppermint Fair – Muskego

Hosted by the Muskego Woman's Club, the one-day Peppermint Fair offers more than 80 vendors, including holiday-themed crafts, a quilt raffle, bakery booth and snackbar.

Keep your shopping trip going with a visit to the 3,000-plus-square-foot Sugar Creek Antique Mall nearby in New Berlin.

Great Hartford Craft Exposition – Hartford

The holiday season starts with a bang at this Hartford affair, held in conjunction with the local Christmas parade and Hartford Lions Club pancake breakfast. More than a hundred exhibitors offer anything you could want for your holiday decor, including figurines of snowmen and Santas and hundreds of Christmas ornaments. You can also shop jewelry and other wearable art, seasonal candies, wreaths and floral arrangements, and many unique holiday gift ideas.

Once you've loaded up the car with the treasures you've found, take a drive out to Holy Hill National Shrine of Mary, located near Hubertus, for relaxing views at one of the most scenic spots in the state.

Christmas Tour of Homes and Craft Sale – Hudson

Tour the 1854 Victorian-style Octagon House by lamplight, as well as four other homes dressed for the holidays. A craft sale, marketplace, and extended shopping and dining hours make Hudson a must-stop.

Speaking of dining, check out The Nova downtown for a wine bar and American fusion food. This little gem sources ingredients locally and offers a seasonally changing menu.

Holiday House Bazaar – Monona

This established show offers a no-booth, open setting, with crafts and a huge bake sale in three rooms. A percentage of sales are donated to a local charity.

While you're in the area, be sure to check out one of Wisconsin's top breweries, the award-winning Capital Brewery Company in Middleton. Schedule a tour and tasting for the full experience.

Holiday Craft and Gift Expo – Franklin

The Midwest’s largest indoor art, craft and gift show is a holiday tradition in the metro-Milwaukee area. Take in a crafting demonstration, sample gourmet foods, or just relax with live music and a wine tasting.

Spoil yourself before you head home with a massage or manicure at WELL Spa & Salon in downtown Milwaukee.
