Wisconsin’s Pizza Farms: Not Your Typical Take-Out
You know dairy farms and cattle farms… but have you ever been to a pizza farm? Here in Wisconsin, you can head to the farm for fresh, delicious pizza, packed with ingredients that taste like they were just picked this morning (because they probably were).
Each of these places is also wheelchair accessible and many can accommodate dietary restrictions, so everyone in your group can join the fun. Check them out with your foodie friends and family this summer!
Stoney Acres Farm – Athens
For a uniquely delicious night out, visit a third-generation family farm nestled within the picturesque landscape of Marathon County. Stoney Acres in Central Wisconsin offers a range of seasonal pizzas made with ingredients from the farm, including whole organic spring wheat, vegetables, meats and mushrooms. They even offer handcrafted beers and ciders brewed from organic hops, barley and wheat!
The whole family can dance the night away to live music on-site during select pizza nights throughout the season. And don’t forget to check out the farmers' market stand for some fresh produce (and maybe even some sweets!) to take home with you.
Often featuring artisan cheeses from across Wisconsin and vegan options on request, you can think of Stoney Acres Farm as your one-stop farm shop!
