Island Orchard Cider produces and sells their Normandy style ciders from their cider house in Ellison Bay in Door County. Using apples and pears grown at their Washington Island orchard and other Door County orchards, their French-style ciders are aged in stainless steel or oak and then bottled for tasting at their Cider House and distribution at stores throughout Wisconsin. Their Cider House is located in a historic building that once served as a transfer building for a local fishery and orchard. Today, visitors are welcome to watch the cider-making process and visit the tasting room from May through late December.
Opened in 2008, Maiden Rock Winery & Cidery in Stockholm brings you the tastes of Wisconsin-produced fruit through their wines and ciders. Offering varieties of cider from semi-dry to semi-sweet, still or sparkling, their selection of ciders has grown since the time they first opened their doors offering just their Lake Pepin Semi-Dry Still Cider and Harvest Apple Wine.
