Along the Koshkonong Creek near Cambridge and Rockdale, the 11 miles of single track offer something for everyone from smooth flat trails along the beautiful Koshkonong Creek to steep rocky technical sections, fast and flowy open prairies to tight and twisty tree sections. For the leisure riders a multi-use gravel path runs the length of the park from Cambridge to Rockdale and offers an alternative for a very easy ride, while doubletrack grass ski trails are also open throughout the park for a little more challenge on wide dirt/grass trails. CamRock II is perfect for this. A Bike Park with many skills features is across the creek from the Cambridge trailhead and offers riders and opportunity to work on skills. For more challenge search out the singletrack MTB trails that run the length of the park. As a general rule the trails start out easiest from the Cambridge trailhead and follow the creek, and the trails get more difficult as you head south, with the more technical trails near Rockdale. For the really adventurous that like to get sendy seek out Cliff Edge, Mayors playground and Gregg's Place. Trails are well marked with maps at each intersection and rated for difficulty from green to double black similar to a ski area. Trail pass is required for age 16 and above. Parking is available at the Cambridge trailhead, Rockdale trailhead, or at CamRock I, II & III. Bathrooms are available at each Park shelter, across the street from the Cambridge trailhead, and at the Rockdale Bar & Grill. Each of the CamRock Parks has shelters, picnic tables and playground equipment, with CamRock II having a natural surface play area.
