Trail Description
Open year-round, although not maintained in the winter, the four-mile, mostly paved asphalt and gravel trail along shore of Lake Wazeecha is in South Wood County Park. Popular in winter for hiking and snowshoeing, fat tire biking is also an option. The loop trail is popular with campers, cyclists, runner, walkers and families. The trail passes both beaches, White Sands and Red Sands. The latter is home of the annual Wisconsin State Water Ski Show Championships. Parking, shelter, picnic area, restrooms available at beaches. Walk/Run/Roll events held annually.
