Wisconsin Zip Line Tours: Are You Ready for a Rush?

If you’re looking for something to get your heart pumping, zip lines are for you. And they’re catching on in Wisconsin. Literally.

But in case you’re not familiar, let us explain. Basically, you’re strapped into a harness and suspended from a cable, and glide through the air from tree to tree. Cool? Cool.

Now, where to go.

Lake Geneva Canopy Tours

Head south of Milwaukee to try Lake Geneva Canopy Tours, a zip lining adventure for the whole family. Lake Geneva Canopy Tours offers tours year-round for all ages. Each excursion offers spectacular views of Lake Como and the surrounding area. Aerial Adventures in Lake Geneva offers three different zip line canopy tours at 600, 300 and 200 feet.

In Wisconsin Dells you’ll find Bigfoot Zipline Tours, Wilderness Canyon Zip Line Canopy Tour and Vertical Illusions.

Bigfoot offers six lines with more than 5,000 feet of soaring through the air. The course covers 30 acres and sends you sailing over the water and through the woods.

Wilderness Canyon is located on the Wilderness Resort grounds and provides five zip lines strewn from six towers hovering 60 feet in the air.

At Vertical Illusions, adventurous people will head to the top of Chimney Rock Park, a 500-foot bluff with 100-mile views, stunning plants and curious wildlife. There, you’ll ride from eight tree-to-tree zip lines without touch the ground or climbing any stairs.

And further north, in Door County, is Gravity Trails. New at Gravity Trails is twilight zip lining! Tours start at 8 p.m. under the glow of candles and moonlight.

You know how when you go out on that first date and your friends ask for details. Well, we want details. Which course is your favorite? Would you go again? How many times have you gone? Do you have pics? Share details on our Facebook page!
