Green Innovations

• Resort encourages and instructs guests to boat responsibly and observe 'no wake' zones, to 'Catch, Photo, and Release' large fish, and to recycle garbage.• Resort organizes day trips to visit local attractions and activities such as biking, hiking, waterfalls, rafting, and other local sightseeing trips.• Local, organic, and/or sustainable products are purchased and used at the resort.  Paper products contain recycled content.  All laundry soaps, cleaning products, and dishsoaps are biodegradable, soy-based products.  And hand soaps are organic, vegetable oil products. • Installed successful Lakeshore Restoration Project in conjunction with DNR that serves as model for Wisconsin and surrounding states.  Only organic fertilizers are used and no pesticides are ever used on grounds.• New for 2014 - Working with Focus on Energy to transition from CFL bulbs to LED bulbs and other energy saving measures.
