Back O’ Beyond Resort is nestled on 6 acres of private land on the sandy shores of Teal Lake – Northern Wisconsin’s prettiest lake.Teal Lake is the perfect setting for a tranquil vacation. Connected to Lost Land Lake by channel, the combined water area is over 2500 acres of good fishing. Noted as one of the “Quiet Lakes”, Teal Lake has a 10 mph speed limit and no water skiing, providing the ultimate nature experience.Teal is a class ‘A’ musky lake with excellent walleye, bass and panfish. The shores are well timbered with many inlets, bays, sandbars, weed beds and the Teal River. The lake also has 7 state-owned islands, perfect for exploring and picnicking. Our beach is the finest in the area: 450 feet of natural sand, very safe for your swimming enjoyment. Back O’Beyond Resort was founded by Maurice and Ellen O’Connor in 1972 and has been family run for 45 years by generations of the O’Connor family.
