Back O' Beyond Resort

Back O’ Beyond Resort is nestled on 6 acres of private land on the sandy shores of Teal Lake – Northern Wisconsin’s prettiest lake. Teal Lake is the perfect setting for a tranquil vacation. Connected to Lost Land Lake by a channel, the combined water area is over 2500 acres of good fishing. Noted as one of the “Quiet Lakes”, Teal Lake has a 10-mph speed limit and no water skiing, providing the ultimate nature experience. Teal is a class ‘A’ musky lake with excellent walleye, bass and panfish. The shores are well timbered with many inlets, bays, sandbars, weed beds and the Teal River. The lake also has 7 state-owned islands, perfect for exploring and picnicking. Our beach is the finest in the area: 450 feet of natural sand, very safe for swimming. Back O’Beyond Resort was founded by Maurice and Ellen O’Connor in 1972 and has been family-run for 45 years by generations of the O’Connor family.
