The Enchanted Inn Restaurant & Campground
Once the summer home of the Chicago police chief during the days of Al Capone, this beautiful property has been transformed to a summer resort for those seeking relief from the crowds and pressure of city life. The Enchanted Inn has been family owned since 1951 and is set upon 54 acres of scenic lakeshore property. The outstanding restaurant and cocktail bar, wooded seasonal and overnight campsites bordering a crystal-clear, sandy bottom lake make the Enchanted Inn a premier getaway destination. We also have a cozy waterfront cottage available to rent for the entire summer, a three-month minimum for a single family is preferred. Bring your own tube for tubing on the river.
