Located in the northwest portion, of the Northern Highland-American Legion State Forest, in the southeast corner of Sandy Beach Lake. Sandy Beach Lake Campground has three vault toilet buildings, three hand pumps for drinking water, separate trash and recycling dumpsters and a large picnic and beach area with parking. A boat launch is located near the campground entrance. Camping reservations are required
