You have not been up north until you have visited the Saxon Harbor Marina & Campground. At this quaint harbor on Lake Superiors south shore near the Michigan border, visitors enjoy fishing, sailing, kayaking, paddle boarding, agate hunting, swimming and camping just to name a few. Beautiful sunsets with the Apostle Islands in the horizon can be viewed from the green space along the shore. Visitors to Saxon Harbor don’t just arrive by car, they come by boat, ATV & UTV, snowmobile and RV. Saxon Harbor is a popular destination by boaters from the Apostle Islands.
Saxon Harbor is an 81-slip marina plus transient docking. Amenities include water and electrical hookup, gasoline, diesel, pump out, fish cleaning station, restrooms & showers, 3 launches with plenty of trailer parking and a kayak launch. The campground has 31 campsites including 5 rustic walk-in sites. Amenities include electrical and water hookup, picnic tables and fire rings, restrooms & showers. A dump station is also available. Reservations can be made by online or over the phone.
