Smith Lake County Park & Campground
Open year-round. Located just 3 miles west of Park Falls, this 300-acre park is located on the Smith Lake section of the North Fork of the Flambeau River, with river access to two canoe-in campsites (no fee) as well as the park and campground; 30-unit campground; all sites have electricity, picnic tables & fire rings; fee required; no reservations – first come, first served; tents, trailers, and RVs up to 45+ feet; uncut wood is provided; open-air picnic shelter with electricity (can be reserved) and grills; pressure water (faucet & drinking fountain), flush toilet/shower building, and dump station, mid-April/May through the last weekend in September/mid-October, conditions permitting; vault toilets, boat landing/dock, fishing, swimming area, horseshoe pits (bring your own horseshoes), hiking trail; ATV ramp; access to multi-use trails including ATV trails. (Winter camping, vault toilets, no plowed roads or services.)
