The scenic Trailside Hideaway campground is located on the Nicolet State Trail in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest and Rat River. From there, you can enjoy your favorite trail activities: ATV/UTV, snowmobiling, walking/running, bicycling, horseback riding, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and more. Self-registration is available for your convenience. Campsites are spacious, private, and select sites have both water and electric hook-up. Campground also has a beautiful building housing restrooms, showers, and laundry room. A dump-station is available to utilize upon exiting.
