Castle Mound Campground serves as the headquarters for the Black River State Forest. This year-round campground has 35 sites, 14 of which are electric. There is one electric ADA accessible site. A shower and flush toilet building are available seasonaly. The campground also includes vault toilet buildings, pump water, and a trash and recycling station. The campground is located outside Black River Falls, WI on Highway 12 east.
