Nekoosa
Derived from the Ho-Chunk word for “running water,” Nekoosa is located near the geographic center of the state along the dazzling Wisconsin River. Picnic with friends in Riverside Park along the water or cast a line for great fishing. Visit in the fall for the annual Nekoosa Giant Pumpkin Fest to get in the autumn spirit with a farmer’s market, games, a car show and other fun activities or any come time of year to try your luck at the casino.
