Experience life on an active 4th-generation Brown Swiss dairy farm located in the rolling hills of Green County! You are encouraged to take as much of a hands-on approach as you prefer. Feed a baby calf, milk a cow, or just enjoy the relaxing and peaceful serenity of rural Wisconsin farm life.Located less than five miles from Monroe, this home away from home is close enough to all that Monroe & the surrounding community has to offer, but still has room to stretch your legs. Guests have access to entire home with four bedrooms (sleeps up to 9), two baths, a full kitchen, laundry, and dining and common areas.

Meet Farmer Dan and his herd of Registered Brown Swiss at the 4th-generation Wegmueller farm, established in 1931.  There’s a red barn, a milking parlor, cows, and calves are raised by Dan’s wife Ashley.  Their herd is grass-based; they rotationally graze the rolling green pastures.  The farm is home to two donkeys, a flock of laying hens, and friendly farm cats.  You’ll also meet Professor Paisley and her friend Chonkey – the Kunekune pigs (pronounced “cooney cooney”), a breed native to New Zealand.  They embrace their roles as four-legged “garbage disposals” with Dan and Ashley’s AirBnB farm-stay vacation guests often sharing leftovers and table scraps with the portly pair.  And there’s more – three ponies, three draft horses, six riding horses (the farm has four miles of trails), and one retired horse who is living out her best life at the farm.  Inquire about trail rides!
