Tuscobia Trailhead County Park
This day-use park is located on the outskirts of the City of Park Falls. There are two (2) paved parking lots with a ramp available and trail access to the Tuscobia State Trail with ATV riding allowed May 15 through November 15 and snowmobile riding allowed December 2 through March 31, weather permitting. Overnight parking is allowed. A wetland restoration project resulted in a 5-acre pond that is supporting a waterfowl population. Amenities include horseshoe pits (bring your own shoes), baseball diamond, tables, grills, picnic area, play equipment, and an open-air shelter with electricity (call to reserve-fee required). The flush toilet building (plus drinking fountain and faucet) is available mid-April through mid- to late-Oct., weather permitting. There is a paved pedestrian trail to the City of Park Falls. Pets are allowed at the park - must be under control or on a leash at all times - not allowed in buildings.
