The North End Snowshoe Trails are part of a cross country ski and snowshoe trail system. The snowshoe trails were established specifically for snowshoeing and are mapped and marked. There are three loops offering from a short 1.1 mile hike to hikes of almost 6 miles. The trails use a combination of old woods roads and rustic single track trail. They travel mostly cross country and take you deep into the woods. The terrain is varied, but not extremely difficult. There is a parking lot, warming building, and outhouse at the trail head.
