Waupun County Park spans 103 acres on the northwest edge of the city, offering a mix of recreation and natural beauty. The wooded campground features 38 sites with electrical hookups, restrooms, showers, and a group camping area, making it a convenient spot for families. Two open-air picnic shelters, an enclosed shelter, and playground equipment provide plenty of space for gatherings and play, while a disc golf course adds to the fun. There is also home to the Waupun Park Maple Forest, a designated State Natural Area with hiking and skiing trails that wind through a rich mix of oak, maple, and ash trees. Whether staying overnight or visiting for the day, this park offers a welcoming place to enjoy time outdoors in every season.
