The Wintergreen Trail is a series of loop trails - Loop A 1.9 Km, Loop B 5.1 Km, Loop C 8.5 Km, Loop D 5.1 Km. It is for your year-round enjoyment for non-motorized activities including hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, snowshoeing, fat biking and intermediate and expert level classic and skate cross-country skiing. The trail entrance to the historic Fifield Fire Tower can be accessed from the same parking area. 

The trail offers a variety of routes through rolling terrain, ranging from upland ridges to lowland marshes.

A National Forest parking pass is required. The fee for a day pass can be paid at the parking area. An annual sticker can be purchased at the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest office at 1170 S. 4th Avenue / Highway 13 in Park Falls, over the phone by calling the office at 715-762-2461, or at the following businesses: •Phillips BP / Ball Petroleum (165 S.
