About this Event
Kick off Native American Heritage Month at the first annual 3 Rivers Powwow, a celebration of Indigenous cultures through traditional song, dance and community. Hosted by the Milwaukee Public Museum with support from Potawatomi Casino Hotel, this free event welcomes everyone to experience the traditions and cultures of Native Nations.
Enjoy the Grand Entry at noon and experience a variety of dance categories accompanied by renowned drum groups representing Wisconsin Tribes. Visitors can also browse arts and crafts from local Native artisans, enjoy Indigenous foods and explore resource tables throughout the day.
Whether it's your first powwow or you're a returning attendee, you'll find a welcoming atmosphere and an opportunity to learn about and celebrate Indigenous cultures. More details to come.
