4th of July Celebration - Mineral Point

This is always a big day for Mineral Point. It starts with the annual Gettin' the Lead Out 2-or-5- mile run/walk through the hilly, historic city. An enthusiastic crowd enjoys a big small-town parade as it makes its way down High Street. Music, food, games, a band concert, and a pie social fill the afternoon, and the day is capped with a magnificent fireworks show. It all adds up to a quintessential Fourth of July.
