Artist Talk: The Milwaukee Ballet

Celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Quadracci Pavilion with a one-of-a-kind collaboration between the Milwaukee Art Museum and Milwaukee Ballet. Join us for a special conversation between Michael Pink, Artistic Director at Milwaukee Ballet, and Dr. Kantara Souffrant, Senior Director of Community Dialogue and Adult Programs at the Milwaukee Art Museum, to discuss the creative process behind MKE MIX: Art Moves and explore how works from the Museum’s collection were transformed into original choreography.

MKE MIX: Art Moves translates paintings, sculptures, and design into dance, creating a dynamic dialogue between visual art and movement.

The celebration continues January 22–31 with the performances, featuring three original dance works. Together, the conversation and performances offer a unique opportunity to experience this collaboration from conception to action.
