For 5 days, downtown Beaver Dam will be bustling with nearly 200 Walldog artists as they paint a dozen murals in the greater downtown Beaver Dam area. Watch as bare walls are transformed into murals depicting the history of Beaver Dam. Special events (food, live entertainment, kid and family friendly events, art shows and projects) occur each day of the festival. Pick up a map and event schedule at Downtown Beaver Dam Inc. (DBDI) office or downtown businesses to start your journey (walk or drive) as history turns into art. Walldogs is an internationally renowned organization of sign and mural artists, creating public art for nearly 20 years. There is no cost to the public to enjoy watching the mural painting or entertainment. Some events are offered with advance paid tickets to participate (Sat. night gala/auction fundraiser). All mural sites will be listed on maps to pick up in advance along with schedule of events, both available at The Beaver Dam Chamber of Commerce, 127 S. Spring Street or during the festival, at the Downtown Beaver Dam Inc. office.
