Concerts by the Lake - Barry Riese

Join us for a heartfelt evening of music with Barry Riese, a seasoned singer-songwriter and guitarist whose career spans over 50 years. A founding member of the legendary Piper Road Spring Band, Barry brings a rich blend of folk, bluegrass, classic country, and folk rock to the stage—infused with heartfelt vocals and steady guitar grooves.

Now a proud Bayfield local, Barry’s performances feel like home. His setlist weaves together original songs, torch ballads, and timeless favorites from the likes of Bob Dylan and the Grateful Dead. Whether you've heard him on the Bayfield Inn Deck, at the Fat Radish, or from his own front porch, Barry’s music always strikes a familiar chord.

Concerts by the Lake run every Tuesday and Thursday from June 10 through August 28, 2025, at Memorial Park, overlooking Lake Superior. All shows are free and open to the public.

Bring a lawn chair, a blanket, and settle in for a true Northern Wisconsin evening. Leashed dogs are welcome, too!

In case of inclement weather, the concert will move to the Bayfield Lakeside Pavilion. Updates will be shared the day of the show on the Bayfield and the Apostle Islands Facebook page.
