Concerts by the Lake - Idle Rose

Let the calm of summer wash over you with the honest and uplifting sounds of Idle Rose, a folk duo from Ashland featuring Laura Idle and Rose Spieler-Sandberg. With soft harmonies, acoustic guitar, and heartfelt lyrics, their music shimmers like Chequamegon Bay on a still July evening.

Their sweet, relaxed Americana style is both playful and sincere—offering a peaceful, grounding presence on a summer night by the lake.

Concerts by the Lake happen every Tuesday and Thursday from June 10 through August 28, 2025, at Memorial Park, with Lake Superior as the perfect backdrop. All shows are free and open to the public.

Bring a blanket or a lawn chair, and take in the peaceful rhythms of a Northern Wisconsin summer night. Leashed dogs are welcome, too!

In case of inclement weather, the concert will move to the Bayfield Lakeside Pavilion. Updates will be shared the day of the show on the Bayfield and the Apostle Islands Facebook page.
